HBO and Disney may have skipped this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, but there are still plenty of trailers for upcoming movies and TV shows spilling out from the event. We highlighted a number of the other day, including one for the Syfy series Nightflyers, based off a novella by George R.R. Martin. The biggest trailer to come out so far is probably for Warner Bros.’ Aquaman, an origin story about the superheroic king of the sea, starring Game of Thrones veteran Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo). Momoa certainly looks the part. I’m still not convinced they’re going to be able to make “guy who controls fish with his mind” awesome. We’ll see when the movie hits theaters on December 21. And damn, that is some very red curly hair on Amber Heard.

Warner Bros., which has been making movies based on DC Comics characters for a few years now, also debuted a trailer for Shazam, about the superhero Captain Marvel. This one looks a little more fun: custom made cosplay costumes

Warner Bros. and DC have been trying for a while now to compete with Marvel Studios, which includes had a ton of success with films starring the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, Spider-Guy and the Guardians of the Galaxy. If you haven’t noticed, superheroes are very hot right now. Universal is certainly throwing its hat into the ring with Glass, M. Night time Shyamalan’s follow-up to his surprise hit Split, which was itself a shock follow-up to his 2000 kinda-sorta superhero film Unbreakable. Will this movie stand alone, or will Universal looking to establish its own primary superhero cinematic universe? Why not? Everyone else is doing it.

Survey results: How do Game of Thrones enthusiasts rate and rank the episodes?

Months ago, prior to the 2018 Con of Thrones transpired in Dallas, fansite Watchers on the Wall released a thorough survey about Video game of Thrones and A Track of Ice and Fire fandom, and read the results at the function itself. Part of this survey asked supporters to rate every bout of the series on a level of 1-10. Around 1,000 of these followed through.fire emblem oboro cosplay

Now, Watchers provides compiled their rankings and produced a rating of most 67 episodes of the show. Just how do Game of Thrones fans price every hour of a common show? Have a look below, you start with the 17 episodes on underneath of the pile:

Unsurprisingly, time of year 5’s “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” is on the bottom rung; the double-whammy of the introduction of the Sand Snakes and Sansa’s wedding evening to Ramsay appears to have doomed it. (My own lowest-rated episode is “Beyond the Wall structure,” FYI; appreciate you, HBO.) While I’m not really shocked that season 5 is usually well-represented in the cheapest tier, I didn’t be prepared to see half the growing season occupy underneath five areas. Ouch. No factors for the burning up of Mance Rayder in “The Wars to Arrive” or Cersei and Margaery’s passive-intense battling in “High Sparrow”?  alice madness returns misstitched dress

I’m also surprised to see “Kill the Boy,” “The Gift,” “WHAT'S Dead Might Never Die” and “Dragonstone” this low, but let’s not obtain bogged down in the facts. On the other hand, there are no episodes from seasons 1 or 4 represented here.

We've a cross portion of episodes here in the center of the pack. I’d have thought things like “Breaker of Chains,” “The Queen’s Justice” and “Book of the Stranger” will be higher, but mileage will change. Also, we've our first season 1 event with “Lord Snow,” aka “THE MAIN ONE Where Jon Snow REACHES The Wall.”

Okay, we’re close to the the surface of the ladder. The highest-rated period 7 episode is definitely “The Spoils of Battle,” which clocks in at lucky amount 13. At the same time, classics like “The Lion and the Rose” and “THE KIDS” just barely skip the top 10.

Not many surprises on high, although I’d possess thought “Blackwater,” “The Watchers upon the Wall” and “Fire and Blood” would almost all be a bit lower. (Don’t inform anyone, but I believe “Watchers” is an impression overrated. I don’t just like the cliffhanger closing, and think it’s minimal motivated of the show’s big fight spectaculars.) Not really that differences of views don’t exist…Watchers also divided the info by what sort of fan took the study. For instance, there are individuals who examine George R.R. Martin’s A Music of Ice and Fire novels before viewing the display (book-than-show), those that watched the show and then browse the books (show-then-book), and fans who just watch the display (show-only). Interestingly, regardless of how they found Video game of Thrones, everyone experienced the same 11 episodes near the top of their rankings; it’s that the purchase was a little bit different.

HBO might not have attended this year’s NORTH PARK Comic-Con, but that didn’t stop Game of Thrones supporters from dressing as a common characters and turning away in droves. I enjoyed the way the interviewer talked to the cosplayers like these were in fact cast members. I specifically liked the guy decked out as Jon Snow; he even flapped his cloak like Package Harington did while goofing off behind the moments of season 7:

“The White-colored Walkers are likely to reach the Eyrie, realize it’s impenetrable…” Wait, what? When do Jon Snow move the Northern host to the Vale? Oh, Jon Snow cosplayer, you really know nothing. custom made cosplay costumes

Next, we've Daenerys Targaryen and Sansa Stark, both of whom are dressed to impress. I must say i dig the Sansa cosplayer; she nailed the appearance, and the accent sells it. “I came across my calling in life,” Sansa says. “There are therefore many abused and poor wretched pets out there and I’m likely to take up a shelter, a rescue for all the canines.” Yes, Sansa, for all your dogs.

The Hound, in the meantime, thinks Sandor and Sansa will sit the Iron Throne “ruling each one of these idiots.” He certainly gets the Hound’s attitude down, and his clothing is on point because of the hound’s mind helmet. green arrow and black canary costumes

I’ve also surely got to cheer on Woman Olenna, who includes a deal with the night time King to resurrect her. “Tell Cersei I’m arriving for her.”

And of course the Night King appears fantastic, and he actually brought a baby with him. “Everyone dies.” That’s a favorite one.

Maisie Williams gets the most Arya Stark tattoo ever

It looks like Williams went to the same celeb tattoo artist as Turner, New York’s Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy. And before all of this, the pair of them got coordinating tattoos: “07.08.09,” the day the two of them were hired to be on Thrones.

George R.R. Martin changes Targaryen family members tree with Fire & Blood

There’s a fresh book occur Westeros coming this season. No, it’s not really The Winds of Winter season; it’s Fire & Blood, the first quantity in George R.R. Martin’s two-component series about the Targaryen dynasty. bolin cosplay costume

Maybe he simply neglect this factoid once he got before the Mom of Dragons, or was speaking broadly.
