HBO visited Gosford Castle to film scenes for time of year 3, specifically the one where Robb Stark beheaded the traitor Rickard Karstark; should be a nice memory to wake up to. The castle offers been divided into several sections, one of which was auctioned off at the end of June. Gosford Castle Development Limited is now selling another chuck. It’s already put work into this section of the castle in order to turn it into six luxurious apartments - the Inner Bailey, the Great Hall, the Previous Keep, the Dining Room House, the Library Wing and the Round Tower - each of which has a number of bedrooms and an average of 3500 square ft. Originally built in the mid-1800’s for the 2nd Earl of Gosford, the castle was designed in the Norman revival style, which is itself modeled on Roman architecture of the 11th and 12 centuries. The Earls of Gosford lived there until 1921, when the treacherous Freys took it for themselves the Northern Ireland Ministry of Agriculture purchased the property and turned it into a park. The castle would go on to be used as everything from a public document storage facility to a barracks during World War II to a resort. And of course as as filming site for Game of Thrones. George R.R. Martin changes Targaryen family members tree with Fire & Blood

But actually, since the first Daenerys Targaryen died youthful, it’s easy to excuse Quentyn’s mistake. Maybe he simply neglect this factoid once he got before the Mom of Dragons, or was speaking broadly.

Why do the Vale clans remind us of Monty Python? Martin definitely mines them for laughs.
Tyrion’s chapter is about power plays. Tyrion uses rhetorical tricks to try and set up himself as the leader of the Vale clans, and then Tywin guidelines in and takes control of the situation even further. We’re moving up the food chain of power players. professional cosplay costumes
Speaking of Tywin, what an intro! The Tyrion-Tywin dynamic emerges fully formed here in all of its emotional messiness. The display adapts it pretty directly…except for Tywin’s mutton chops.
Sansa’s chapter is fascinating because of how much is hidden between the lines. Sansa notices a lot about how the mood in the Red Keep has changed since Ned’s arrest, but doesn’t always know what it means. What is she missing, and what will it say about her priorities at this time in her journey? green arrow and black canary costumes
Then there’s just plain fun stuff, like Barristan Selmy stomping out from the throne room just like a boss and the Hound refusing to take knightly vows. This chapter’s got it all.
This chapter shows off the strength of the point of view structure. If this had been from Cersei’s perspective, we’d have a completely different experience.

Are you surprised when Deadpool 2 made a crack about the Martha scene in Batman v Superman

There is natural behavior in people who like to pick a side and champion a sports team, politician, priest or religion, Apple or Samsung, to DC versus Marvel.

Someone who sees himself as a diehard DC fan and who evolved his favoritism toward being antagonistic toward Marvel is prone to take offense and even actively campaign against another publisher . All the custom made cosplay costumes are in high quality. 

I find it strange to actually take up a cause to pick a publisher and its cast of characters and actually campaign against a rival publisher. I think it’s only appropriate for Politics and Professional sports, but not consumer goods or fictional entertainment. It’s silly and I ask the question “why?”

Unless there are financial advantages for rooting for the success of DC at thw expense of Marvel, by all means- go milk your investment. But to armtwist others and brandish intellectual ego to prove why DC or Marvel is empirically better in a category that is 100% Subjective, is downright stupid. 

Unless you are going to buy me the entire DC catalog and evangelize it, I don’t care which publisher you prefer.

People love to pick sides because it’s a chest pounding ego moment. Especially on line and in social forums. I don’t feel gratified convincing others that their tastes in superheroes suck. But I am funny like that. 

I do get in great love with the deadpool 2. So what do you think?
